He's exhausted by noon. A doctor's appointment wipes him out for the day. Everything takes longer and costs more energy. He can't imagine adding social obligations to an already depleted tank.
Elijah collapsed exhausted, wanted to die, had nothing left. Angel touched him, provided food—'the journey is too great for you.' Two meals gave him strength for 40 DAYS. Supernatural energy for the journey AHEAD, not behind.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too tired for friendship. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord shall RENEW their strength—supernatural energy is available. I am a branch; the Vine provides strength for connection without depletion. The BARAK blessing includes REFRESHING relationships that RESTORE, not drain. IT IS WRITTEN that His yoke is EASY and burden LIGHT. I receive friendships that ENERGIZE, companions who REFRESH, supernatural strength for connection, NOW, in Jesus' name.
The Father is running toward you saying 'I'm sending friends who'll sit in comfortable silence, who won't demand performance, who GIVE life instead of taking it.' Rest isn't absence of people—it's presence of the RIGHT people.
