"Everyone else gets pregnant easily, so God must not want me to have children"
How it sounds in your head: You scroll Instagram seeing another pregnancy announcement from someone who wasn't even trying. Your friends get pregnant on honeymoon while you've been trying for months or years. It feels like God is handing out babies to everyone except you, like you're specifically excluded.
"Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb."
-- Genesis 30:22Comparison culture convincing you that others' blessings prove your rejection
The evidence is overwhelming—people getting pregnant accidentally, easily, abundantly while you desperately try and face disappointment. The contrast makes it seem like God is intentionally bypassing you.
Rachel was barren while watching her sister Leah have six sons and a daughter—forced to witness blessing after blessing flow to someone else. Yet when God opened Rachel's womb, she gave birth to Joseph, who saved entire nations and became one of the most significant figures in biblical history.
I REFUSE the lie that others' easy pregnancies prove God doesn't want me to have children. IT IS WRITTEN that God remembered Rachel and opened her womb after years of watching her sister conceive repeatedly. Someone else's blessing is not my rejection. IT IS WRITTEN: I am Abraham's seed and heir according to PROMISE, not according to who conceives first. God's timing for me doesn't diminish His goodness. My womb is blessed with the blessing of Abraham—the same blessing that gave Sarah a baby at 90 and Rachel a son who saved nations. I am not forgotten; I am remembered.
The Father doesn't have a quota. He didn't run out of babies by the time He got to you. He's not comparing your womb to anyone else's—He's calling YOU fruitful, regardless of how many pregnancy announcements you've seen.
