"Everyone at school has better clothes and phones than me and it's not fair."
How it sounds in your head: I see the girls with their designer everything and latest iPhones and I'm over here with hand-me-downs. My parents say we can't afford it but God must love those families more. I feel poor and left out.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Enemy using comparison to steal joy and blind her to covenant blessings already hers.
She literally sees other girls with things she wants every single day at school. The visual evidence of what others have makes her own provision feel inadequate and shameful.
A widow was so broke creditors were coming to take her sons as slaves—she had absolutely nothing but one jar of oil. Elisha told her to borrow empty jars and God multiplied that oil until EVERY jar was full, she sold it all, paid ALL her debt, and lived on the surplus—one afternoon changed everything.
I REFUSE the lie that what others have determines what God can do for me. IT IS WRITTEN that my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches, not according to what I see at school. I am Abraham's seed, an heir according to the promise, and the BARAK blessing is on me by covenant not comparison. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28:8 that the Lord commands the blessing on my storehouses—what He has for me cannot be measured by what He gave someone else. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, and God's provision for me is based on Jesus' blood not anyone else's bank account.
The Father isn't waiting for you to stop looking at what others have—He's running toward you right now with the RING of authority and the ROBE of sonship while you're still wearing hand-me-downs. He sees you as ROYALTY already, and His supply for you has nothing to do with anyone else's abundance.
