"Doctors and medicine are God's way now; supernatural healing is unnecessary and unrealistic."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe expecting God to heal supernaturally is irresponsible when we have medicine. It feels like I should just be grateful for doctors and not ask for more. Wanting a miracle seems greedy when medical help exists.
"He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
-- Psalm 107:20Source: World's naturalism mixed with religion to eliminate dependence on God's supernatural power.
Medicine is visible and doctors are respected, while supernatural healing feels uncertain and unreliable. It seems more mature and responsible to trust what he can see.
King Hezekiah was sick to the point of death, and the prophet said 'set your house in order, you're going to die'—medical death sentence. Hezekiah prayed, and God sent the prophet back to say 'I've heard your prayer, I've seen your tears, I will ADD 15 YEARS to your life'—God overruled the diagnosis INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that medicine replaces God's supernatural healing. IT IS WRITTEN that He sends His WORD and heals—God's Word is still the primary healing power. I'm grateful for doctors, but I don't limit God to natural means when He specializes in the IMPOSSIBLE. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing is impossible with God, and that includes healing my body instantly, completely, and supernaturally. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing includes divine health that transcends natural limitations. I receive BOTH natural help AND supernatural intervention because my Father loves to show off His power.
The Father isn't limiting Himself to what doctors can do—He's running toward you with the same creative power that spoke worlds into existence, ready to speak wholeness into your body. He's not intimidated by medical impossibilities; He's famous for doing what can't be done.
