"Deep connection is for other people—I'll never experience being truly known."
How it sounds in your head: You watch other people finish each other's sentences, share knowing looks, understand without explaining. You've never had that. Conversations stay shallow. Nobody asks follow-up questions. You're chronically under-known.
"O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off."
-- Psalm 139:1-2Enemy's strategy to prevent intimacy by convincing you it's unavailable to you specifically.
Your relationships lack the depth you observe in others. People don't ask about your inner world, don't remember what you've shared, don't pursue knowing you beyond surface facts.
Skeptical guy under a fig tree, unknown to Jesus physically—Jesus saw him before Philip called him, knew his character, saw him in his private moment. Immediately Nathanael recognized Jesus as Son of God and King of Israel—instant deep recognition and connection from being truly SEEN.
I REFUSE the lie that deep connection is impossible for me. IT IS WRITTEN that God has searched and known me—He understands my thoughts from afar. I AM fully known by Heaven, and that knowing is being reflected in human relationships. The BARAK blessing draws people who SEE me. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 Corinthians 13:12 that I will know fully, even as I'm fully known—divine intimacy is my inheritance. I am blessed in the city and field, known and celebrated everywhere.
The Father is orchestrating divine appointments with people who will ask the deeper questions, remember your answers, and pursue knowing your heart. Like the prodigal whose father knew him well enough to prepare the fattened calf in advance, you're being KNOWN by people who see beyond the surface.
