"At my age, my ability to father children or my seed is worthless and cursed."
How it sounds in your head: I'm 90+ years old. Even if I wanted more children or grandchildren, my body is done. My seed, my legacy in that way—it's over. I missed my window. My reproductive years are a closed chapter, and there's nothing left there but dust.
"And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her. Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, 'Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?'"
-- Genesis 17:16-17Enemy whisper combining ageism with shame, attacking the covenant promise that your seed is blessed across generations.
Medical reality says male fertility declines dramatically with age, and society says men my age are 'past that.' Every mirror, every doctor visit, every obituary of friends my age confirms the body is shutting down.
Abraham was 100 years old, Sarah 90, both bodies 'as good as dead' (Romans 4:19). God visited Sarah and she conceived Isaac exactly as promised—instant miracle conception at impossible age.
I REFUSE the lie that my age makes my seed worthless or cursed. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham fathered Isaac at 100, and I am Abraham's seed through Christ. My reproductive legacy is not determined by my age but by the BARAK blessing that covers my descendants. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:29 that if I am Christ's, I am Abraham's seed and HEIR according to promise. Whether I father more children or not, my seed across every generation is BLESSED by covenant, not cursed by age. I am HEIR to the promise that spoke Isaac into existence when Abraham's body was dead. My legacy is BLESSED.
The Father sees your seed—children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren—and He speaks BLESSING over every generation, regardless of your age or physical capacity. He is the God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17).
