"Abundance is for the young who have time to use it; at my age wanting more is greedy."
How it sounds in your head: What would you even do with more at eighty-something? You don't travel much anymore. You don't need much. Wanting financial increase at your age feels like greed—like you missed your window and should just be content with 'enough.' Let the young people have the abundance; your season for that has passed.
"The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing."
-- Psalm 92:12-14The enemy assigns expiration dates to God's promises, teaching that age disqualifies from blessing—denying that the BARAK has no age limit and Abraham received Isaac at 100.
Society views elderly desire for increase as either hoarding or pathetic grasping, and you've internalized that your time for abundance has ended. The mirror shows age, and culture equates that with diminishing worth and shrinking entitlement to blessing.
At 85 years old, Caleb said 'Give me this MOUNTAIN'—the most challenging territory with giants. God gave him strength to conquer it. He didn't settle for less because of age; he claimed MORE and received it INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that age disqualifies me from abundance. IT IS WRITTEN that the righteous shall still bear fruit in OLD AGE—fresh and FLOURISHING, not withering. Caleb took his mountain at 85. Abraham received Isaac at 100. I am connected to the VINE, and fruit flows from connection, not age. The BARAK blessing has no expiration date—it's COVENANT, not performance-based. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation in Christ Jesus. I receive increase, abundance, fresh provision, and new blessing in these years. My age makes me QUALIFIED for double honor, not disqualified from blessing.
Your Father isn't counting your years and deciding you've had your turn at abundance. He's the Father who gave Abraham a promised son at 100—when logic said it was impossible—because His promises don't expire with age, they INTENSIFY with covenant relationship.
